The Centre for Sport Research brings together academic expertise from the School of Exercise and Nutrition Science and sport management scholars from the Deakin Business School.The Centre has a wide range of research projects underway across diverse areas such as sport management and development, sport governance, sport performance, injury and health.

Vicsport is the peak body for sport and active recreation in Victoria. Vicsport represents and supports its members in order to “encourage and assist more Victorians and Victorian communities to enjoy the enormous benefits that sport, and active recreation can provide.”
For over 30 years Vicsport has provided advice, assistance and support to its members and the broader sports community.
Vicsport will partner with many Victorian Universities and other partners in order to provide the Victorian sporting community with the best in research, workforce training and support.
Through an extensive network, Vicsport’s constituency includes over 80 State sporting organisations, more than 50 local councils, 30 Associate members, 16,000 clubs and associations, and over 3.25 million participants, paid staff and volunteers who make a significant contribution to the social, physical, mental and economic wellbeing of the Victorian community.
