Vicsport is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Hasker as its new CEO, effective 10 May 2018.
Lisa is currently the General Manager of Community and Stakeholder Relations for Basketball Australia and has experience in managing commercial operations, participation programs, events, marketing and media.
Vicsport Chairman Ron Gauci says: “I am delighted that Lisa, with her credentials and extensive experience, has agreed to join our team at Vicsport.”
Lisa has studied Physical Education, Exercise Science, Sport Management and holds a Masters of Marketing. Lisa comes to Vicsport with a wealth of industry knowledge and experience including Board positions at AFL SportsReady Foundation, Shooting Australia, Athletics Victoria and Australian Sponsorship Marketing Association.
A former Manager of La Trobe Sport at La Trobe University, Lisa developed and implemented the strategy to enhance La Trobe University’s brand and has served as Manager of Public Affairs and Sponsorships at the Victorian Institute of Sport, CEO at Victorian Little Athletics Association and Marketing Manager at Victorian Golf Association.
Lisa will replace current Vicsport Interim CEO Michael Sholly who has been in the role since 11 January 2018.
