Evaluation - the Net Promoter Score

One of the most frequently recognised forms of impact marketing is peer to peer promotion, word of mouth. This is particularly relevant to sport and physical activity programs, where 'enjoyment' and 'social connection' elements are commonly recognised as key motivators for people to get active. Many people give something a try after a referral from a friend or relative who has had a good enough experience to promote the program on behalf of the organisation running it.

You can use the Net Promoter to Score to evaluate the likelihood that your participants will promote their experience to their peers. Check out this video explaining the background to the development of the NPS and how can you can start to use it:

Survey Monkey – a tool used by many organisations to conduct online surveys for a range of purposes – provides some tips and guidance on how to develop and use the Net Promote Score: surveymonkey.com/mp/net-promoter-score/.
