The Victorian Sport Awards are the perfect platform to celebrate ground breaking achievements in sport. We encourage all those involved in Victorian sport and active recreation to nominate athletes, administrators, coaches, officials and organisations for outstanding work in sport at community and elite levels. The Victorian Sport Awards celebrate those who go above and beyond in their contribution to sport and active recreation.
Meghan Mayman, Acting CEO of Vicsport said "With over nineteen different categories up for contention, we are ecstatic to witness the vast diversity of sport and the presentation of these highly sought titles and rewards for participating in sport in Victoria, the sporting capital of Australia. Entries are already at record high levels, and with only a number of weeks remaining to enter, we expect to have outstanding results in awarding the best of the best".
The awards ceremony draws in more than 550 attendees from sport, recreation and health industries, and boasts recent award winners including such names as Ange Postecoglou, Michelle Payne, Andrew Bogut, Dylan Alcott OAM and Nicole Livingstone OAM. This event is attended by key Victorian sport decision makers along with the Minister for Sport and the Governor of Victoria.
