My Sport Live join forces with Anytime Fitness to live stream events

Thanks to this new initiative, Victorian sporting clubs will be able to access a pool of $30,000 worth of funding, to stream events across multiple platforms.

The grant program is designed to give clubs the opportunity to promote themselves, their events, their sport and their people across both their own community and the wider community as well.

One event per month will be selected to be part of this innovative new initiative and the program web page has now gone live at www.mysportlive.tv/grants.

My Sport Live Managing Director, Andrew Weiss, said that the program was an incredible opportunity to help clubs and sports tap into much-needed support to be able to showcase their events through digital platforms.

“It really is very exciting to be able to make the announcement today to launch this initiative that will help grass-root sport and sporting communities in Victoria,” Weiss said.

“Thanks to Anytime Fitness, this is the first step in the dream to help make streaming available to sports at no cost, and now this has become a reality.

“We will work together with the successful funding applicants to ensure they get the most out of streaming their event and hope that we can also connect them to further future support through their local Anytime Fitness gyms.”

Anytime Fitness are the biggest gym chain in Australia and in Victoria alone they have 96 gyms scattered throughout the state with more than 500,000 members nationally.

Talking about the program, Anytime Fitness franchise owner and head of the Victorian Marketing Group, Fred Drew, said that Anytime is stoked to be helping give even more back to local community.

“We know that sport and sporting clubs play such a significant and important role in bringing communities together, and allowing people to participate in activities that they love,” he said.

“In that regard, we feel that the connection through this program between Anytime Fitness and sporting clubs is a natural one.

“We are all about community and helping to promote health, activity, friendship and community and we know that with this program we can help to achieve all of these things.
“We are really looking forward to working with sporting clubs all over the state, and continuing our wonderful partnership with My Sport Live to help benefit as many people as we can.

All the details of the program, including how to apply, can be found via www.mysportlive.tv/grants.
