Vicsport welcomes Catherine Harding to the Board

Vicsport Chairman Ron Gauci today announced the appointment of Catherine Harding as a non-executive director of the Board of Vicsport.

Vicsport is the peak body for sport and active recreation representing 90 state sport associations, local government authorities and their member and communities.

A qualified lawyer with over 15 years’ experience working in government, non-profit and private sectors, Catherine brings a wealth of experience to the Board in areas including justice and social policy, human rights law and health and nutrition.

Having worked in policy and strategy roles in state and federal public sectors, Catherine has a deep knowledge of government processes and policy development framework, as well as strong experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of programs.

Catherine is an Associate Director in KPMG’s Advisory Division in the Policy, Programs and Evaluation Group and works with government and non-government agencies to support them in the delivery of projects which focus on strategy and governance.

A non-executive Director of Women's Health West since 2014, Catherine served as Deputy Chair in 2015.

Catherine holds a Masters in Public and International Law from the University of Melbourne in addition to a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in French and Italian, and a Bachelor of Law with Honours from the University of Sydney.
