Last Year's Heroes - Will Robertshaw


This week’s edition of “Last Year’s Heroes” we take a look at the winner of Victorian Young Volunteer of the Year Award, Will Robertshaw.

Will is a senior player with the Ormond Cricket Club (OCC) and the Ormond Amateur Football Club. Recognised for his outstanding leadership skills with both clubs, Will also coaches the Ormond Junior Football Club.

Will was nominated for his contribution as a junior coach for the inspirational mark he leaves on his players in both junior cricket and football.

A unique individual with an eager desire to learn and be mentored, at aged 19, Will is a leader in the community and sets a perfect example for young players coming through.

“I teach my players that it’s ok to fail, you just have to learn to get back up again and give it a go”.
